Location:RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £37,860 - £43,000 (depending level of experience)

AWE is currently recruiting for Early Careers Team Leaders (Production & Assets)
These roles will be supporting the future delivery and operational capability of the Production function through the development of Graduates, Technicians, Apprentices, and Summer/Year in Industry students, and to ensure Early Careers new entrants are fully developed to be appropriately skilled contributors deployed across Production.
What you would be doing:
Assisting the lead with the allocated section of Production & Assets Early Careers community ensuring that:
- The Early Careers community are developed to meet Production & Assets skill and resource requirements for demand to sustain future operations
- Development plans are in place for each individual
- Collective development plans are in place and maintained for own community
- Collective development plans are in place and maintained for Production & Assets Early Careers community
- Each developing individual delivers 6-, 12-, and 18-month reviews
- Each individual is properly ready for their final review at 24 months
- You support Production & Assets Recruitment campaigns
- Attend universities to establish relationships
- Attend university careers fairs
- Support AWE assessment centre
- All - maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player
To be successful in these roles, we would like you to have:
- Strong communications skills (both written and oral)
- Integration skills (provide linkages across communities)
- Organisational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel/word
- Experience of working outside of AWE core programmes
- Working knowledge of Production & Assets and AWE
- Customer Interaction skills
- A good Delivery track record (to Quality, Time and Cost)

- You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
