Job Description :

A primary school based in Kettering has an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teacher to join their team from January 2025. This is a full time, permanent position suited to either an experienced or Early Career Teachers.

As the successful Early Years Teacher, you will be joining an Ofsted rated good school, with an established senior leadership team who have a heavy focus on teacher wellbeing. The school generally has very high staff retention levels, with this position becoming available due to the current teacher relocating.

This is a two-form entry school, allowing you to joint plan with the second year group teacher, helping to manage teacher workload. There is also the support of a shared Teaching Assistant as well as 1:1 support for pupils with an EHCP.

Key Responsibilities* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons that engage and inspire young learners.* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes play-based learning.* Assess and track children's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, providing regular updates on progress and development.* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching resources and ideas.* Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For* Qualifications: o A recognised Early Years teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, EYTS, or equivalent).

* Skills and Experience: o Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.o A creative, enthusiastic, and caring approach to teaching and learning.o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both children and adults.o Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the life of the school.o A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to making a positive difference.
