EYFS Teaching Assistant - Wakefield

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Crigglestone, Wakefield on a full-time basis starting in January 2024. This role specifically focuses on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and requires expertise and/or training in Read Write Inc. Phonics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Providing one-on-one or small group support to pupils.
• Utilising Read Write Inc. Phonics strategies to enhance literacy development.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting, in particular with EYFS.
• Training and/or experience in Read Write Inc. Phonics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
