Early Years Teaching Assistant - Southwark

About the Role:

• Location: Primary school in Southwark, South East London.
• Hours: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Pay: Starting at £96/day PAYE (equivalent to £110/day through an umbrella company).
• Contract: Long-term role until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to children to enhance their learning experience.
• Assist with classroom preparation and day-to-day activities.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Ideally, you will have previous experience as a teaching assistant within an Early Years setting.
• Qualifications: A CACHE Level 3 or similar qualification is a plus, but not essential.
• A patient, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual with a genuine love for working with children.
