Job Description :

We are searching for an experienced and dynamic Education IT Business Development Manager to join our client’s IT education team, with the aim of identifying and developing new business within the education sector.

Key Details:

  • Nottingham/Midlands - Hybrid Working (Office/Home/Field Based)
  • Up to £45,000 pa (£70k OTE)
  • £5,000 Car Allowance
  • Uncapped Commission
  • 26 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident residing within a commutable distance to Nottingham. Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new business opportunities within Further Education and Independent schools.
  • Creating and executing business development strategies and account plans to develop a new business pipeline.
  • Actively managing your new account base for 12 months to ensure retention and growth of accounts.
  • Building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to influence key decision makers within existing FE’s and Independent schools, allowing you to position a mix of product, service and support solutions.
  • Managing Salesforce activity and forecasting to reflect an accurate pipeline.
  • Representing our client at local and national events.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years demonstrable IT hardware, software and services sales experience.
  • Experience within the EduTech industry is highly desirable.
  • Target driven with a track record of achieving/exceeding targets.
  • Highly self-motivated and will enjoy building trusted, consultative and long-term relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills both in person and remote with experience pitching attractive business propositions.
  • Passionate about technology and committed to continued professional development, keeping up to date with trends within the IT and Education sectors.
  • A confident, enthusiastic, and friendly personality, with a forward-thinking and innovative attitude.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred but is not essential.
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
  • UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
