Electrical Contracts Manager Overview

The Electrical Contracts Manager oversees electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and delivering high-quality results. The role involves managing multiple projects, developing strong client relationships, and maximizing profit through effective project management and value engineering.

• Client Relations: Develop repeat business through strong client relationships.
• Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring BS 7671 compliance.
• Estimating: Conduct electrical estimates for projects up to £80,000.
• Profit Management: Achieve pre-determined profit levels through value engineering.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage engineers, ensuring high performance.
• Communication: Be responsive to all communications and maintain regular client contact.
• Sub-contractor Management: Ensure proper contracts and documentation are in place.

Electrical Contracts Manager Requirements

• Qualifications: BS 7671 qualified with experience in electrical installation.
• 18th edition or equivalent
• Experience: 5+ years as a Contracts Manager, managing projects up to £100K.
• Skills: Proficiency in electrical estimating.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel outside London/South East.

Electrical Contracts Manager Remuneration

• £55,000 - £60,000 DOE
• Working hours 9:00 - 5:00
