Calling all skilled Electrical Design Engineers!
Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading construction on a long-term contract basis in Essex. The selected candidate will be working on a variety of exciting stage 3-5 data centre projects! This is a hybrid position that will require the successful individual to attend the office 2-3 days per week. Our client is looking for skilled engineers with solid expertise in large-scale projects and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality, detailed work.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality electrical designs for data centre projects, focusing on RIBA stages 3-5.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Produce detailed electrical drawings, calculations, and specifications to meet project requirements.
- Review and assess project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and addressing client queries.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the design process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical design, ideally within large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with data centre design is preferred but not essential.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to produce high-quality, detailed work.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is desirable.
- Availability to work on a hybrid basis, attending the office 2-3 days per week in Essex.
