Our client is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team in Exeter. The ideal candidate will be technically strong in Electrical Engineering and will have experience working with Three Phase Power, UPS and Generators. Key Duties:
- Identify and diagnose faults, conducting repairs, adjustments, and necessary maintenance tasks as needed.
- Perform routine servicing, repairs, or adjustments on plant or machinery as per the planned maintenance schedule provided by Engineering Supervisors, Building Services Manager, and FM Help desk.
- Make sure that any plant faults and defects are promptly addressed to keep the plant in a fully serviceable condition at all times.
- Ensure that adequate spare parts are available to perform both scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs. Provide detailed parts lists and estimated time frames for completing remedial work.
- All necessary documentation for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and breakdowns is completed and submitted promptly to the Contract Administrator.
- Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and utilised for all tasks to maintain safe working practices at all times.
Technical Requirements:
- Full time apprenticeship in an electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline complete with City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 certification or NVQ Level 3. Mechanical apprenticeship would be acceptable with relevant electrical experience.
- Previous experience working in a modern building services maintenance environment, and able to demonstrate basic understanding of HVAC and building services.
- Electrical fault finding, working inside panels.
- 18th Edition
- HV Training is desirable
Salary and Benefits:
- £38,000 + Plenty of overtime available
- 8 hour shifts, 5on 4off, (05:45-14:00, 13:45-22:00, 21:45-06:00)
