Electrical Engineering Assistant - Gap Personnel : Job Details

Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for our client in Stafford Park, Telford for a Electrical Engineering Assistant. The role is a permanent role for the right candidate.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Pay:

£26,000 - £29,120 per annum dependent on experience

The duties and responsibilities as an Electrical Engineering Assistant:

• Producing CAD drawings
• Working with low voltage switchgears - 230/400V 3 phase and neutral systems including low voltage systems
• Read and create control circuit wiring diagrams
• Technical support to customers and shop floor operatives
• Occasional quotations
• Working to regulations and identifying issues
• Requisition of equipment
• Office based 90% of the time however would be required to go to shopfloor
• Site work required occasionally

Skills required as an Electrical Engineering Assistant

• Experience with low voltage switchgears
• Experience working CAD drawing programmes and creating drawings
• Ability to read and create simple control circuit wiring diagrams
• Experience working with 230/400V 3 phase and neutral systems and low voltage switchgear
