Electrical Estimating Engineer - Premier Engineering : Job Details

JOB – Electrical Estimating Engineer  LOCATION – West Sussex TERM – Permanent SALARY – competitive depending on skillsetA UK based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Estimating Engineer join their team on a permanent basis.The Electrical Estimating Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• HND Electrical Engineering/ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations/ C&G Inspection & Testing or relevant qualifications.
• Good electrical background in an industrial or commercial environment, ideally with hands-on installation & fault-finding experience.
• Good understanding of control panels.
• BMS/ HVAC experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

• Act as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring you provide clear communication.
• Estimating costs for projects.
• Developing electrical quotations & tenders.
• Ensuring regulations & requirements are being met at all times.
• Liaising with clients & other engineers/ team members when required to ensure everything is to standard.
• Travel across Sussex & local surrounding areas to attend site visits.
