Lecturer in Electrical Installation (Electrician)

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and skilled Electrician to join our client's team as a Lecturer in Electrical Installation. This role is ideal for current Electricians or those with relevant qualifications seeking a new challenge and eager to teach the next generation of Electricians.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Teach courses and work to develop an outstanding provision that positively impacts the learner and assessment process.
- Assist in the development of teaching and learning materials, preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and maintaining records to monitor learner progression, achievement, and attendance.
- Provide appropriate and relevant guidance for learners enabling them to develop knowledge, understanding, and skills.
- Develop and implement timely, safe, consistent, and relevant assessment plans and resources linked to initial and current assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Utilise your wealth of technical skills and experience to teach students on programmes at level 1, 2, and 3 through theory and practical knowledge.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring apprentices, part-time or full-time learners.
- Well-organised with excellent communication skills and proficient in Microsoft IT packages.
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- Relevant degree and/or appropriate level professional qualifications.
- Level 3 qualification in the relevant area of expertise.
- Commitment to achieving teaching qualifications.
- Assessor and Moderator/IQA Award is desirable.
