Lecturer - Electrical Installation

• Annual Salary: £31,357 to £43,729 including London Weighting, with potential Industry Sector Payment of up to £5,000 for strong candidates

FE College is renowned for its excellent facilities and strong delivery of Electrical Installation courses. We are inviting applications for a full-time Lecturer in Electrical Installation at our campus. This role is perfect for professionals who are passionate about teaching and developing the next generation of electricians.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach a range of Electrical Installation programmes to learners primarily aged 16-18 and some aged 19+.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.
• Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure courses are current and industry-relevant.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and overall student experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• Experience gained within the Electrical Installation industry.
• Some teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
• Candidates without a teaching qualification will be considered, as the college supports fully funded teacher training.
