Description

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing and production equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs to minimise production downtime.
  • Support projects aimed at upgrading and improving electrical systems and production machinery.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure equipment modifications meet company standards.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections, ensuring that all work is performed in line with company safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Maintenance Manager, highlighting any ongoing issues or risks.
  • Utilise troubleshooting techniques to quickly resolve electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Use technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide fault-finding processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify areas for equipment or process improvement.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to maintain current knowledge of industry standards and advancements.

Profile

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs, control systems, and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Offer

  • Salary £48k
  • Shift Pattern - 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off
  • Working Hours: 7-7

Salary : 47000 - 48000
