Elevation Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a leading manufacturing company in the Leeds area, who are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Nights Team immediately.
Salary: £47,302Location: Sherburn in ElmetHours: Sunday to Thursday Nights - 39 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and installation of machinery from both electrical and mechanical perspectives.
- Respond to and resolve breakdowns efficiently.
- Work with bespoke manufacturing machinery, including pumps, valves, flow meters, wrapping machines, pick-and-place machines, extruders, and laminators.
- Assist in the development and completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime.
- Fault-find on PLC systems, such as Siemens (fault finding, not programming).
- Collaborate with other departments to address breakdowns and machinery changes.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times and contribute to a safe working environment.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Level 3 or above qualification in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent knowledge in the field.
- Previous experience in a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role is essential.
- HNC or HND qualifications would be advantageous but not required.
- Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge, with proficiency tested during the interview.
- Ideally, 18th Edition certification (though not essential).
- Experience in fault-finding and reading electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Previous manufacturing engineering experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in both reading and spoken English.
- Health and safety qualification is desirable but not essential.
