Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company to recruit an Electrical Maintenance/ Project Engineer for their site in Grimsby. Salary: up to £45,000 plus potential bonus Hours: Days Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Electrical Maintenance/ Project Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the site, assets and to maximise asset life and availability. Duties and Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance/ Project Engineer include:
- Carry out scheduled Preventative Maintenance routines in line with documented procedures to reduce potential for unplanned breakdowns of equipment
- Carry out Corrective Maintenance on equipment if it fails, minimising the impact on production where possible
- Have a pro-active approach to all works, planning and preparing for all preventative or corrective tasks
- Carry out or support root cause analysis of unplanned outages / fault diagnosis on equipment and identify and implement actions to prevent a recurrence
- Support development and updating of maintenance procedures and documentation
- Ensure the relevant management systems are kept up to date, through accurate and timely input of data
- Ensure timely and accurate feedback to customers and line management on the status of all ongoing tasks
- Support implementation and commissioning of plant improvement projects so that improvements are implemented and handed over in a safe manner
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
We would be keen to speak with an Electrical Maintenance/ Project Engineer with the following skills:
- Degree qualified
- NVQ Level 3 – Electrical
- 18th Edition Regulations
- Programming of PLCs (Siemens S7 series, Mitsubishi A, Q, Fx series)
- Design of industrial machinery control systems
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial machinery controls
