Salary starting at - £39, 935 - £43,179 includes 5% supplement + additional payment for On Call Duties

We have an opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our in house trades supervisory team.

The successful person will manage a small team of electricians who provide a variety of electrical installations and repairs.

You will maintain the high standards expected of this team and deliver excellent customer care at all times while working to tight deadlines. This is a role working in a fast paced environment that is frequently subject to change.

We are a forward thinking, values driven housing association. This role is a mobile working role, using our maintenance depot in Ecclesfield, Sheffield as an operating base. Job Description

• Salary - Starting at £39,935 for a 37 hour week - Rises to £40,985 after successful completion of probationary period
• Salary rises incrementally up to £43,179 over a five year period
• Additional On Call payments paid monthly for qualifying staff
• Pension contribution- we match your contributions up to 5%
• Working hours - 37 hours per week
• 27 days annual leave, Bank holidays plus an additional 4 bank holiday days

More about the role:

Reporting to the HMT Manager the role will entail working alone or as part of a small team. You will be an integral part of the HMT Supervisory team sharing your skills and experience with your colleagues and the other maintenance teams at SYHA. You will ensure that all electrical installations and repairs are compliant with the current regulations. In this role you will be working to achieve high standards of service delivery and excellent customer care at all times.

Your staff team will be carrying out works in the homes of our customers, and buildings owned or maintained by SYHA.

Who you are:

The perfect person for the role will possess the following skills and qualities:

Be qualified to a minimum of:

• Level 3 in Electrical Installation & AM2 or equivalent qualifications that predate this.
• Level 3 Award in the requirements of electrical installations BS 7671: 2018 (Current version)
• Level 3 Award -2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
• JIB / ECS Gold Card
• Have the experience and the ability to carry out Electrical work including both maintenance, installation and testing work.
• Have a full driving licence and be confident to drive vehicles in the HMT fleet.
• A working knowledge of digital work solutions including using online applications.
