Electrical Technician

Job Role

Due to continued growth our client based near Oakham have an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, dedicated individual to join their assembly and testing team as an Electrical Technician.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical wiring
• Able to follow wiring schematics and drawings
• Familiar with 12v negative earth machine wiring
• Assembly of electrical junction boxes and enclosures used on the sprayers
• Final termination and connection of sprayer wiring into junction boxes
• Functionality test all sprayer electrical systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on new and secondhand machines

Requirements

• Knowledge of agricultural machinery would be an advantage but not essential
• Adapting to varying machine specifications and customer requirements
• Work under own initiative

• Good Communication skills
• Accurate attention to detail
• Adhere to safe working practices.
• To be able to work as a team or as an individual to reach required goals.

Hours of Work and Pay

• Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm

•        Up to £13/hr DOE
