About the role:

Guinness Property is expanding our team in London and have a new opportunity for an Electrician to join our Repairs team covering our homes in Uxbridge & the surrounding areas.

This is a full time, permanent vacancy, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00am-4:30pm on Monday-Thursday & 8:00am-3:30pm on Friday).

We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only be an experienced & qualified electrician, but you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

We ask that candidates live within 10 miles of Uxbridge to be able to reach all of the locations in a timely manner. You must also have a full UK driving licence as you will be issued with a company van.

Please note: This role will be subject to undertaking out of hours call out duties on a rota basis. This is paid at £524 per week.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v.
• Ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• C&G 236 parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 (or Equiv.)
• 17th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations.

Desirable Qualifications:

• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or Equiv.)
• 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
