We will help you to develop the skills to future proof your career by installing EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage and innovative products for new build housing developers to meet carbon reduction targets.About the roleThe role of the New Build Electrician offers the right candidate the opportunity to build, develop and grow their career with a highly reputable and growing company. Stay ahead of the latest technology and work with the UKs largest new build solar installer, working in partnership with Eon.Working in a safe and controlled environment, installing renewable energy systems for new build housing developers, your mission will be to achieve the highest standard of quality, safety and customer service in low carbon electrical installationsAs a renewables Electrician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of PV systems (inverters and generation meters), accurate and timely submission of paperwork, compliance with MCS and Health, Safety and Quality standards.This is a site-based role requiring travel on a daily basis. There will be a requirement for overnight stays as and when required.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential within this role. The role requires good technological skills and the ability to use Apps to complete certifications and reports.Having the ability to work both as part of a team and also take overall responsibility for your personal workload, whilst delivering excellent levels of service is essential. A desire to put our clients’ needs first and a thirst to develop your own skills is a key part of fitting into this established team.About youPrevious experience in solar installations and/or domestic new builds is required. It is important that you have qualifications in, and a solid understanding of the 18th Edition, 2391 for testing and inspecting, and ECS card CSCs. Experience in 3 phase installations would be helpful but not essential.It is highly desirable to hold "LCL Awards Level 3 Award in Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems and Electrical Energy Storage Systems" or equivalent.To be successful in this role you’ll have strong communication skills, be reliable and a team player. You will be able to work within established timeframes and possess excellent timekeeping skills.You will be flexible in working arrangements and be driven to go the extra mile to ensure we deliver a best in class service for our customers.We are looking for people with integrity, passion, and a determination to make a difference for the future to join our team and be a part of our future success. Our Team consists of hungry, smart yet humble people so if you have these virtues then we want to work with you!What we offer• You’d be joining a highly reputable and growing company who have a real passion for sustainability, eco systems and delivering a first-class service to their customers.• You will be paid a competitive base salary of £40,000 per annum• You will be entitled to a productivity bonus giving you the ability to increase your earnings - Realistic potential of around £1000 per month• Although we don't think you will want to work anywhere else, you will receive a loyalty bonus every year to say thank you from us (starting around £2,500 and increasing each year)• Total OTE based on the above breakdown is around £55k (subject to performance)• We will offer you development with the opportunity to join as an electrician and progress through to an Installations Manager or Team leader (based on performance, quality of work and sharing the company values)• You will have a company van, a fuel card and tools provided• You will have 33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays and a day for your birthday)• You will have access to the holiday purchase scheme (you can buy and sell up to 5 extra days per year)• We offer a contributory pension scheme• Option of a wellness benefit of £30 per month• All training providedYou may also have experience in the following: PV Installation, Solar Installer, Domestic Installation, New Build Electrician, Electrical Works, 18th Edition, City and Guilds, C&G, Multi Skilled Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Repairs, EV Installer Maintenance, Renewable Electrician etc.REF-220 153
