Electronic Assembler - The Recruitment Link Ltd : Job Details

Our client is currently recruiting for a permanent Electronic Assembler to join them in Stone, Staffordshire. The ideal candidate will have strong hand and eye coordination, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Purpose:

The assembly, testing and inspection of a variety of bench top electronic equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

• To assemble, test and inspect a variety of electrical and mechanical parts.
• To assemble and test a variety of intermediate sub-assemblies including PCBs, wiring harnesses, electronic assemblies, hose kits, assorted metal work, switches, caps, plugs etc.
• To inspect wires and crimps as required.
• To carry out function testing using test rigs.

Skills and Abilities required:

• No formal qualifications required however hand and eye co-ordination required during all assembly, testing and inspection work especially intricate wiring and soldering processes and whilst assembling small components.

• Any qualification in electronics would be advantageous i.e. HNC/ONC but an interest or hobby in repairs or building of computers, electrical items or vehicles would be ideal.
• We are also looking for candidates who can demonstrate good team working abilities.

Hours of Work:

• 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 1pm Friday
