You're an Electronics Engineer / Mechatronics Engineer with extensive experience in PLC programming and robotics. You'll be based from our factory in Wrexham, but will work on projects across the UK and internationally with our global company to install and commission our automated production line equipment. You'll be a highly valued member of the team who need your expertise in mechanical, electronic and computer engineering principles. COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: You could live in Wrexham, Chester, Deeside, Oswestry, Ellesmere, Whitchurch, Crewe, Shrewsbury, Mold, Rhyl, Market Drayton, Nantwich, Runcorn, Liverpool JOB DESCRIPTION: Electronic Engineer / Mechatronic Engineer - Automation / Print As our Electronic Engineer / Mechatronic Engineer you'll be designing, developing and implementing innovative electronic / mechatronic systems and solutions. You'll use your extensive mechanical, electronic and computer engineering knowledge to create prototypes and conduct testing on the equipment to ensure functionality, reliability and ensure performance standards are met. You'll be required to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally, staying on site for 4-6 weeks at a time, to install, commission and set up our production line equipment. As our Electronics Engineer, you will: · Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing systems · Project manage, leading the team to plan, schedule and execute the project within time and cost budgets · Integrate mechanical, electronic and software components into cohesive systems PERSON SPECIFICATION: Electronic Engineer / Mechatronic Engineer - Automation / Print You're a degree qualified and experienced Electronic Engineer / Mechatronic Engineer used to working with control systems, sensors, actuators and robotics. You possess a strong knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing process which means you'll slot seamlessly into our team. You have extensive experience in programming PLC controls along with plenty of hands on technical / design experience and you're used to working in a team and are able to manage multiple projects. You will be: · Educated to a degree level or higher in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field · Interested in engineering principles and constantly developing your skills · Experienced with programming languages such as C/C# or Python, but this isn't essential You must be happy to stay away from for extended periods of time.
