Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Embedded/Firmware Engineer to design and develop applications for our high-accuracy oscillator technology. The successful candidate will focus on the Calibrations, Performance, and Diagnostics (CPD) modules for the Final Focus Assembly (FFA) unit in a highly-secured and confidential environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded applications for oscillators in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.Redesign existing applications using design patterns such as Chain of Responsibility, Adapter, Observer, and Producer-Consumer.

Implement and maintain the following modules:

• Calibrations Module: Tune oscillator parameters to meet specified requirements.
• Performance Module: Qualify oscillators according to industry specifications.
• Diagnostic Module: Identify potential oscillator problems through reporting and graph plotting.

Ensure 100% code coverage through unit tests.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with Python.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience in developing applications in VDI environments.
• Familiarity with software design patterns and unit testing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the semiconductor industry or related fields.Familiarity with calibration, performance measurement, and diagnostics in oscillator applications.Previous experience working in a secure or confidential development environment.
