Contract Embedded Software Engineer, Manchester, £50 to £70 per hour, Hybrid working available

A contract Embedded Software Engineer with extensive industrial experience in designing and debugging real-time applications in C is required on a long term contract basis. You’ll work with Embedded systems using bare-metal, RTOS or Linux – leading the development of Embedded Firmware for the company’s major projects.

• A minimum of a good BEng in an Electronics related discipline
• Commercial experience designing real-time applications in C
• Working with Embedded systems using bare-metal, RTOS or Linux
• Experience in porting and use of RTOS: Zephyr, FreeRTOS

The successful lead Embedded Software Engineer will take responsibility for the development of Embedded Firmware on projects, ensuring code quality via implementation as well as undertaking software design and support.
