Employability and Personal Development Tutor - Rotherwood Education : Job Details

Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a Employability Skills and Personal Development Tutor to join a well established College. The role is part time teaching 3 days a week and on going to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

Teaching employability skills to unemployed adult learners aged 19 and above.

Creating lesson plans/schemes of work and delivering qualifications through these.

Supporting and guiding learners throughout their accredited qualification to ensure they gain a meaningful ongoing destination after completion.

Requirements:

• Must hold QTS/QTLS
• Must hold PTTLS or equivalent.
• Must have own transport.
• Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
• Possess a passion for the subject, teaching and pupil development
• Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history
• Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
• Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several check
