Employee Relations AdviserLocation: Mailbox, Birmingham Hybrid/Remote (2 days in office)Duration: ASAP, Until 28th January 2025 - TBCHours: 9am-5pmRate: £19.00 - £22.00 p/h (Inside IR35)OverviewOur client is looking for an Employee Relations adviser who has strong experience working with a case management system and HR telephone helpdesk. Please make sure that the candidates are aware that the role is very case management heavy and will need to be used to working on day-to-day quires such as sickness, holiday, etc. The role is audit-driven and will need to show experience working with these day-to-day queries.Key skills/experiences:
- Experience in advising managers on a range of employee relations cases, up to and including dismissals and appeals.
- Demonstrable experience in providing advice on Disciplinary, Grievance, Health and Wellbeing, Capability & performance, and flexible working.
- Experience working in similar organizations – large-scale, complex, contact centre type environment
- Team working and collaborating with various internal stakeholders i.e.; HRBP's, Legal team, and Senior Leaders.
This role will be working remotely with training taking place in Birmingham or Liverpool, so the ability to travel to either of these sites is essential. Initially 2/3 days a week in the first couple of weeks then once a week after initial training.
