Our client supports health organisations like NHS England, NHS Trusts, GP practices, private hospital groups and other providers of healthcare services, across the country in relation to workforce matters.

ROLE

  • You will work closely with a senior member of the team for support and personal development and will be given plenty of client responsibility.
  • Provide legal advice to a broad range of healthcare clients, across the NHS, primary care and private health sectors.
  • You will have exposure to high-level advisory work and employment tribunal litigation.
  • Undertake all aspects of employment law including drafting various employment documents, advising on maternity and paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations issues, disciplinary matters and grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE and employment tribunal claims.
  • Offer transactional support.
  • Effectively build and maintain client relationships through communication and management of client expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • English qualified lawyer.
  • 3-5 years PQE.
  • You must have experience in supporting an employment team, managing a caseload and advising clients.
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Possess great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
  • Be a fantastic relationship builder.
  • Adhere to guidelines and procedures.
