As an Employment Tax Manager, you will:

• Provide expert advice on employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, employee benefits, and expenses
• Assist clients with compliance in areas such as IR35, off-payroll working regulations, and HMRC audits
• Offer guidance on tax-efficient planning, including salary sacrifice schemes, termination payments, and other strategies
• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor on employment tax matters
• Conduct compliance reviews and audits to ensure adherence to tax legislation
• Work closely with colleagues across departments to provide clients with comprehensive solutions
• Contribute to business development initiatives to expand the employment tax service offering
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping to grow their technical skills and expertise

• CTA, ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with strong employment tax expertise
• Knowledge of key employment tax areas, including PAYE, NIC, IR35, and employee benefits
• Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering practical tax advice
• Confidence in handling HMRC enquiries and complex compliance issues
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for client growth
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• £50,000 to £70,000 per annum
