Employability Team Leader

Job Type: Part-time (18 hours per week: 12 hours teaching, 6 hours admin)Location: East London/EssexPayrate: £30-45 Per HourEnd Date: Ongoing until permanent role is in place

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an Employability Team Leader to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in youth work and teaching, who excels in leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team focused on enhancing the employability of young people.
• Teach and assess young people, ensuring they receive high-quality education and support.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the program and team operations.
• Address and manage challenging behaviours in a constructive and effective manner.
• Collaborate with other staff members to improve program outcomes and student experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in youth work.
• At least 2 years of experience in teaching or assessing young people.
• A youth qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
