End User Computing Specialist

£65-75k depending on experience with on-call allowance £6650
hybrid working; 2-3 days in the office per week depending on business needs.
On-call - every two months and weekend work would be mandatory 4 times within the year
Role Purpose & Accountability
- Be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and the launch of efficient operation of all End User Computing systems to support core organisational functions; this includes all Projects,Continual Service Improvement, and BAU activities
- Application of proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues to maximise the benefit of the IT environments
Technical Requirements:
- Microsoft Technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory and ideally Exchange and/or SQL Server
- EUC (Win10, VDI on prem/cloud, profile management, user experience monitoring, endpoint management and security, all M365 technologies)
- administration, configuration problem solving and analytical troubleshooting ability in EUC technologies Citrix, Citrix virtual apps, device image creation (SCCM, InTune, Citrix App Layering, Packer) VMware, Citrix NetScaler, Wyse/IGEL
- cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, Citrix Cloud)
- Proven experience of backup/restore packages
- DevOps principals and technologies such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, YAML and PowerShell would be advantageous
- Agile, Kanban methodologies
- ITIL V3/4 accreditation
