Rare Opportunity: Engineer - Deeside£45,000 to £50,000 per annum | Continental Shift Pattern | 12 Hour Days & Nights

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Implement and maintain predictive maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime and support the delivery of KPIs
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, report non-conformances and suggest innovative solutions to technical challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other departments
  • Demonstrate a willingness to develop within the role
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Level 3 City & Guilds/BTEC/ONC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working to KPIs in an industrial setting
  • Proven expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certification
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to operate to safe and approved procedures
  • Competant IT skills, in particular with Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Improvement Strategy and Risk Analysis assessments
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency practices in industrial settings
  • MHE and/or PPT Licence
