Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Implement and maintain predictive maintenance programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime and support the delivery of KPIs
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, report non-conformances and suggest innovative solutions to technical challenges
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments
- Demonstrate a willingness to develop within the role
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 3 City & Guilds/BTEC/ONC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working to KPIs in an industrial setting
- Proven expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Level 2 Food Safety Certification
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to operate to safe and approved procedures
- Competant IT skills, in particular with Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Experience with Improvement Strategy and Risk Analysis assessments
- Familiarity with energy efficiency practices in industrial settings
- MHE and/or PPT Licence
