ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRICAL BIASED ENGINEER TO OVERSEE A TEAM ON A NUCLEAR DEFENCE PROJECT

• Permanent Opportunity
• On-site in High Wycombe
• Up to £55,000
• Monday to Friday (days)
• DV or recently lapsed DV required for the role

WHAT WILL THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER BE DOING?

You will be overseeing a team who will be heavily involved in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical and mechanical systems to a variety of Defence related projects. Other responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance to regulations and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team
• Be able to get 'hands-on' if required
• Coordinate with stakeholders to help keep projects on track

WE NEED THE ENGINEER TO HAVE…

• Strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience leading a team of engineers
• Understanding of Defence standards such as JSP 375
• Knowledge of Electrical Authorised Person responsibilities
• Level 3 mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications
• An active DV level clearance (or a recently lapsed DV) is required
