Engineering Lecturer

- Hourly Rate: £30 - £40 per hour
- Hours: 22.2 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
We are seeking a temporary Engineering Lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Environmental Engineering & Sustainability at our Derby location. This role is perfect for a professional with a robust background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering who is passionate about teaching and sustainability.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver lectures on L3 Environmental Engineering & Sustainability, L3 Electrical Principles, L2 Sustainability, L2 Electronics, and L2 Engineering Project.
- Prepare engaging and informative lesson plans that meet educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments and exams, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and learning experience.
- Engage students with practical and theoretical knowledge, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subjects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a teaching role within the engineering field.
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Engineering, Electrical Principles, Sustainability, Electronics, and Engineering Projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
