We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager on a 12-month rolling contract to lead the development of a series of data-focused, high-impact projects. As an Engineering Manager, you will be expected to have a strong hands-on engineering background (Python or similar technologies) and substantial experience in managing data-intensive projects. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers and ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of engineers, guiding the technical delivery of data-focused projectsProvide hands-on technical leadership, utilizing Python or similar technologiesOversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable, data-driven applicationsCollaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutionsShape the technical vision and ensure adherence to best practices for performance, scalability, and securityMentor engineers and support their professional growthAct as a key point of contact for technical issues, driving high-quality and impactful solutionsWork closely with senior stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals

Requirements:

Proven experience in a hands-on engineering role (Python or similar tech stack)Strong track record in managing and leading engineering teamsExtensive experience in data-focused projects, with a focus on high-performance, scalable solutionsPrevious experience delivering SaaS applications is highly desirableExperience in managing remote teams or collaborating globallyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
