Engineering Manager - Natures Way Foods Ltd : Job Details

Engineering Manager | Salary £60,000-£65,000 p/a + Bonus | Selsey, West Sussex

The successful applicant will ensure all plant, equipment & site services are maintained and repaired in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner whilst ensuring all plant is run to its maximum efficiency.

Manage the engineering resource and ensure compliance with all current codes of practice including Natures Way Food standards and any statutory compliance

Natures Way Foods is the leading manufacturer of prepared salads, coleslaw and “food-to-go” for supermarkets and retailers, and as such we work closely with farmers across Europe. But there’s lots more to us than the products we make.

You will already have experience in:

• Managing and developing a team of Engineers
• The day-to-day activities of the site-based engineering department
• Continuous improvement of engineering practices and standards and projects
• Legionella management
• Efficient use of energy resources, including reduction initiatives
• Environmental compliance management 
• Ensure buildings, plant & equipment are safe in design & operation

Experience required

• Recognised electrical qualification
• Extensive experience within a fast-paced Industrial engineering environment
• People management experience
• Working understanding of Health & Safety legislation
• Strong multi-skilled technical abilities
• Strong communicator (written & verbal)
• IT Literate
• Team player
