• Managing a team of 3 to 4 Design Engineers
• Managing the activities of all engineering projects
• Maintain a detailed project plan including assigning tasks, responsibilities, updating milestones and providing progress reports
• Identifying and managing risks, communicating early warnings and facilitating resolution meetings
• Continually communicate with department heads, following up on actions and providing support where necessary
• Contacting customers to provide progress reports and communicate any delays

Engineering Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Engineering or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Mechanical engineer knowledge
• People Management
