A leading Electronics Engineering organization is seeking an experienced and visionary People Manager to lead its Engineering Project Management Group. The role requires a leader with a deep appreciation of engineering and project management, coupled with the passion, focus, and drive to inspire a team of Engineering Project Managers (EPMs) to deliver complex engineering solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and functional line management for the Engineering Project Management team, ensuring the successful delivery of critical equipment.
- Support EPMs in achieving project milestones, while fostering collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop, motivate, and grow the team to meet business needs and future workload demands.
- Conduct high-quality development and performance evaluations to maximize team potential.
- Initiate and manage team improvement initiatives to drive continuous development.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in leading teams and individuals, with a strong track record in managing people performance and development.
- Ability to define, implement, and embed strategic direction, providing clarity of vision and mission.
- Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with various management tasks including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
