• Salary: £25 to £35 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated GCSE & Functional Skills English Lecturer to join our educational team. This role involves teaching both college and adult-aged learners, providing them with the skills and knowledge to excel in English.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students studying for GCSE and Functional Skills English.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to varying levels of proficiency.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Participate in departmental and college activities, and stay updated with current trends in education.

• A recognised teaching qualification in English or a related Field is Desirable.
• Experience in teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.
• Strong understanding of the English curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
