Tradewind are seeking an experienced English teacher WITH QUALIFIED TEACHER STATUS IN THE UK to work in a Leicestershire mixed 11-16 mainstream secondary school from September 2024. This is a full-time, long-term supply role initially for 1 term with potential to join the school permanently from January.
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the academic success and literacy skills of students. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of young minds, fostering a love for literature, language, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging KS3 & KS4 English lessons for students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and effective communication skills among students.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialisation or strong background in English/Literature.
