We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time position, starting ASAP, where you will inspire students and foster a love for English.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Relevant teaching experience, particularly at KS3 and KS4 levels.
• A strong command of the English curriculum and the ability to deliver it effectively.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• A genuine passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4 English students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and development.
• Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the English department's success.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
