About the Role:

As an English teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking. You will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5, helping them achieve academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach engaging and creative English lessons.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring they meet or exceed targets.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the English department and wider school activities.

About You:

• The successful candidate will be a dynamic and committed educator with a passion for English. You should have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English at secondary level, with a proven record of student progress.
• Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire learners.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate effectively.
• A proactive approach to professional development and teamwork.
