The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging English Language and Literature lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Differentiate teaching strategies to support students of varying abilities, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.

  • Foster a love of reading, writing, and communication while preparing students for their GCSE examinations.

  • Contribute to the wider school community by supporting extracurricular activities and literacy initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practices that enhance student outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.

  • Be an enthusiastic and adaptable educator with the ability to engage and motivate students.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
