English Tutor Opportunity - 1:1, CV2 - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced English Tutor to provide bespoke tuition for two students preparing for their GCSEs at Key Stages 3 and 4.

As an English Tutor, you will deliver tailored lessons designed to help students bridge gaps in their understanding and prepare them for their GCSE English exams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in teaching English who is looking to make a positive impact on students' academic journeys.

You will work with two students, each requiring 2 hours of tuition per week. One session will take place at a community centre, while the other will be at the student's home, both located within a 15-minute drive of each other.

There are plenty of opportunities available across Coventry, allowing for additional hours if desired.

• Part-time: 4 hours per week (2 hours for each student)
• Minimum pay: £28+ per hour
• Hours: Flexible scheduling to accommodate student needs.

• QTS or equivalent in English
• Proven experience supporting students to pass their English GCSEs
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching
• Ability to engage and motivate students

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one
• Two professional child-related references.
