They employ over 10,000 people in well-invested modern food manufacturing sites around the country.Your new roleYou will be part of the H&S team reporting to the SHE Manager, using your knowledge of environmental compliance to maintain consistency and best practice in a key Leicester site. Main duties include…

• Develop and implement a site environmental strategy
• Support managers to continue to drive the key outputs of the Environmental Management System
• Ensuring environmental compliancewith ISO14001
• Managing relationships with external stakeholders
• Manage local relationships with the Environment Agency, Colleagues, Customers, Local Community
• Develop a positive environmental culture through awareness building, training and coaching

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience with ISO 14001 verification audits
• Knowledge of key Environmental legislation
• Technical report writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience in the FMCG industry (preferred)
