A leading long/ short hedge fund is now looking to recruit an Equity Analyst into their team. The role will join a very successful team of fund managers and analysts who have a superb track record in investing.

The role will work on the following :

-Active Identification of investment opportunities for the fund Identification of events which can trigger a gain or loss in value of a stock

-Recommending buy and sell side trades to the Portfolio Managers

-Carrying out detailed financial modelling and analysis of investment opportunities

- Monitoring existing positions

- Active member of the investment team

They are interested in people who will have a background as follows:

- Investment banking analyst with a major bank or advisory firm

-Superb academics

- Real interest in financial markets
