Salary: Circa £48,000 - £52,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: We trust our people to agree, within their teams, where and when they can be most effective. Our Dynamic Working framework allows individuals flexibility around the hours they work and where they work. You will need to be onsite as and when required and ideally 2-3 days a week, therefore being able to get to one of our sites easily is essential.
The opportunity:
We are seeking an ER specialist to join our team for approx. 12 months to cover a maternity absence within a team of experienced, passionate ER professionals. The ideal candidate will be solution focused, detailed, have strong experience in multifaceted complex case management, be able to operate as a partner to HR colleagues and business areas with a focus on development. You will be someone who can thrive in procedure/guidance/toolkit creation and delivery. An understanding of employment legislation and its application in commercial environment is a must. The ideal candidate would also have experience in Trade Union activities and internal employee forums.
What we're looking for from you:
This is a varied role which contributes to the evolution of a collaborative, forward thinking and changing culture in a positive employee relations climate. You will need to have strong coaching skills and be able to advise on innovative employee relations solutions, building relationships through the business at all levels and demonstrating empathy. You will be reviewing and implementing contract-related solutions and developing resources to empower employees and managers in support of a positive employee relations climate. You will be highly competent in practically applying employment legislation knowledge every day in a business context, demonstrating high levels of integrity and be passionate about making a difference, as well as having a commercially astute approach.
You will have strong communication skills and be able to build, engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business including Trade Union Representatives and Company Ambassadors and therefore experience of working with Trade Unions, in a Unionised environment and/or with Employee Representatives, would be an advantage.
