Job Title: Functional Consultant (SAP S/4HANA Implementation) - Contract 12-18 months

Robert Half is partnering with a leading financial services company undergoing a significant transformation, migrating from Sun Systems to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ideally with exposure to Sun Systems, to support this major implementation on a contract basis.

Role Overview: As the Functional Consultant, you will play a critical role in this transformation, ensuring seamless integration between systems and supporting the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate closely with the finance and technology teams to ensure the solution is tailored to meet the company's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA during the migration from Sun Systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and ensure they align with system capabilities.
• Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, ensuring smooth integration with other key systems.
• Support testing, training, and go-live activities to ensure successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, acting as the primary contact for functional queries during the implementation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong background in SAP and S/4HANA implementations, with proven success in financial services projects.
• Previous experience with Sun Systems is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of financial processes and system integration in the context of SAP.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• London-based, with availability for an on-site contract of 12-18 months.
