We are seeking an Estates and Facilities Operative to join our team in Blackburn. In this role you will support the cleaning and waste management services, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for customers. The role involves providing excellent customer service, following company policies, and working with the team to maintain high standards.

Outline of key responsibilities for the Estates and Facilities Operative...
- Carry out routine cleaning of all internal and external communal areas, ensuring these areas are left clean, safe and attractive for our customers; using a combination of hand tools, power tools and chemical agents when required.
- When required assistant in the removal of graffiti, fly tipped waste on the organisations land.
- Undertake a range of minor repairs to communal properties, gardens and the wider estate including planned deep cleaning. Ensure that access footpaths are kept free from hazards and/or obstructions.
- Adaptability and flexibility, responsible for working in service areas across the team as required, cleaning, waste & house removals and general duties associated with estate management.
- Follow THGs Health & Safety Policy at all times.
- To operate all machinery and equipment in a safe and correct manner using all safety devised and practices.
- Liaise with customers during work, actively seeking their feedback on services provided, and ensuring high levels of service and customer care are delivered in accordance with THG policies and procedures, while fully considering their needs.
- To carry out administrative tasks associated with the post; e.g. updating systems when required.

- Full Manual UK Driving License
- Practical experience of working in a Cleaning & Caretaking service
- Practical knowledge of and ability to operate Cleaning and Waste equipment and machinery.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy to enable accurate record keeping
