- Providing up to date cost information into Group Commercial through Benchmarking
- Attend development meetings when appropriate, contract pre-start and subcontract package review meetings
- Carry out pre-order meetings including all necessary Health & Safety requirements and finalising a tender sum
- Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorisation for passing payments for all elements of subcontractor works.
- Internal BOQ production for all elements of Vistry Work production
- Place subcontractor orders, including interviews and checking references on selected subcontractors.
- Issue variation orders and development changes alongside providing cost advice on major variations prior to issue. You will issue revised contract drawings to subcontractors, negotiating the cost of variations
- Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorisation for passing payments for all elements of subcontractor works. You will agree final accounts with subcontractors, ensuring all works have been carried out within budget and analysing costs to assist on future estimates
- Carry out extensive costing exercises for legislation changes and business innovation including exploration of various MMC
- Promote the expansion and maintenance of good working relations with all internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed of key departmental developments
- Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues across all regions
- Providing support to the Group Sustainability & Social Value agenda
