Estimator - ALDWYCH CONSULTING LTD : Job Details

Keep reading - this could be the ideal next step for you!A groundworks and frames contractor in the UK are looking to expand their team and are seeking a swithced-on, highly ambitious Estimator. You will manage and plan resources, innovate and foster a collaborative, professional and positive working environment along with delivering an appropriate estimating role.As the Estimator in this role, your duties will be (but not limited to) the following:

• Ensuring that tenders are complete and submitted on time
• Identifying client requirements and developing the best offer to meet them
• Working with the designer on D&B contracts
• Liaising with the commercial and the procurement department
• Quantity take offs
• Evaluating the programme requirements, developing methods of construction and suitable techniques to enable efficient cost-effective resource levels to win bids

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Ability to show previous experience gained in working on infrastructure projects
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• A full UK driving license
