An industry leading contractor based in Birmingham requires an Estimator, with proven experience within the Joinery sector, to oversee pricing on various high-end Retail & commercial fit out projects in the Midlands area.
Their turnover has increased year-on-year and have a large pipeline of work for the year ahead already.
The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their various ongoing projects and the overall progress of the company and that has the desire to become a senior management figure in their commercial team.
About the role:
- Providing accurate and detailed estimates for internal and external bespoke joinery items.
- Liaising alongside the Project Manager on tender submissions.
- Replying to general information requests.
- Ordering materials
- Improving efficiency of process from enquiry to proposal.
- Providing administrative support to the bespoke joinery division.
About the candidate:
- Knowledge of the joinery metalwork industry, interpreting plans, sketches, and concepts.
- Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good general IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
